Snow skiing in North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains

This photograph of our daughter was taken the day after Christmas (2007) during her first snow skiing adventure at Appalachian Ski Resort near our cabin.
Like many new skiers, she fell a lot but had a great time.
There are several fine ski resorts near the cabin which help to make winter in the Blue Ridge Mountains as much fun as any other time of the year.
